Description
Dis-Chem is seeking highly motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team as Masterdata Graduate Interns. This internship program is designed for recent graduates who are eager to kick-start their career in master data management within a retail environment. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and challenging industry.
Responsibilities
- Data Management: Assist in the creation, maintenance, and validation of master data records in accordance with established guidelines and policies.
- Data Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of master data, identifying and rectifying discrepancies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and supply chain, to ensure alignment of master data processes with business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Participate in ongoing initiatives to optimize master data management processes, contributing to increased efficiency and data accuracy.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of master data processes and procedures.
- Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve master data-related issues, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
- Training and Development: Engage in continuous learning and development, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in master data management.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate with a relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
